The First Stop on Your Dog Training Journey!

Orientation

The very first stop on your training journey is the Orientation webinar!

You will receive a link to register for this webinar after you purchase a training package. There is a webinar “scheduled” for the last day of every month. Once you register for that you will receive access to the webinar and quiz which you can watch at your own leisure!

Watch the presentation, answer a few quick questions, and you are ready to go!

4 Core Subjects!

Each subject will have a different focus, but shares the same foundation exercises. The classes are meant to be repeated until you are comfortable with your training level.

The flexible scheduling means there will be different dogs in your classes as you progress. Some teams may be on class number one and learning the basics of a sit and other teams may be working on more advanced concepts in the same class!

You will progress from Basic to Advanced manners by repeating these classes.

Serious Self-Control!

This class is all about self control. We will teach your dog to behave politely around food, toys, or other distractors. We do not teach a traditional “Leave It” cue, but rather teach the dog to ask for permission instead.

Raging Recalls!

Do you wish your dog comes when you call? Or comes a little faster? This is an extremely important and potentially life saving skill all dogs must have! This class will teach you how to build a great recall.

Sensational Stays!

In this class your dog will learn sit, down, and how to settle on a mat. In addition to teaching the positions above, we will also address how to teach your dog to stay.

Walking Wonders!

This class will focus on loose leash walking, a challenging, but much desired skill by nearly all dog owners. It is no fun being dragged along behind your dog. In this class you and your dog will develop the skills necessary for loose leash walking.

Specialty Subjects!

Community Classes

Ready to take your skills you learned in your Core Manners Classes on the road? This class will be held outdoors, in public locations throughout Southern RI and Southeastern CT.

This class will be limited to 4 teams per class. Your dog should have completed 6-10 classes in The Fetch Room prior to this class or have a good grasp on Intermediate manners. This class is not suitable for aggressive dogs.

This class is meant to help you prepare for the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test. Dogs should have a good grasp on Basic to Intermediate manners prior to enrolling in this class.

This is a good step for teams considering Therapy Dog work. Having a dog with a CGC title may also make you eligible for various discounts in your life! Testing will be offered every few months.

Terrific Tricks!

This class is bound to be filled with lots of fun as you learn to work together with your dog to perform fun tricks! Trick training is an excellent enrichment activity.

Did you know the AKC has a Trick Dog Title Program? Well, they do! So come down, have fun, learn some tricks, and earn some pretty ribbons and titles while you are at it! Testing will be offered every few months.

Nuts for Nose Work!

Held every other Wednesday from 7-9pm this extended nose work class will have a different theme every class.

It may be student led where the students learn more about hide placement. It may be games! Games are such a fun way to help prepare you for those trial nerves. It is hard to answer trivia questions and focus on what your dog is doing at the same time! It may be focused on just one element or several elements. It may be holiday themed searches.

Whatever the theme it is bound to filled with lots of fun filled sniffing!

You may purchase this class as a stand alone class OR you may register using your flex pass. TWO credits will be deducted from your flex pass because it is a 2 hour class! All dogs on odor welcome. The cost of this class is $60.00 plus tax.
