Family Dog Mediator Lelah

Lelah has been around dogs her entire life! She grew up going to field trials with her parents and their German Shorthair Pointers. In high school she started working in the veterinary industry, and continued working in various roles for 13 years.
She attended college at Rochester Institute of Technology, where she studied biotechnology and political science. While in college she worked as a dog trainer at a national pet store chain teaching group classes and private lessons, and administering CGC tests at varying locations.
Doing this, she realized how much she loves dog training and animal behavior! She also discovered her passion within the dog world: facilitating and furthering the bond between humans and their dogs based on trust, mutual communication, and understanding. Lelah is a Family Dog Mediator and is pet CPR certified.
Lelah and her husband share their life with Puck, a Standard Poodle, 2 cats, and ducks. Lelah enjoys going on hikes, playing fetch, and trying out different dog sports with Puck. Puck has won multiple titles in Barn Hunt. He is training to compete in nosework, goes to agility lessons, and participates in FastCAT. He is also training to go pheasant hunting with Lelah’s family.
