Dog Trainer Charles CPDT-KA

Charles is a graduate of Syracuse University. He has spent the past 20 years living and working in New England, but after many years of working in the corporate world Charles transitioned to the dog world. Charles has spent the last 10 years work with dogs and their people.
Charles began his canine career in the Boston area working with many talented and respected trainers in the positive reinforcement community. As learned the ropes of becoming a successful trainer he also began a career as a dog walker. Charles has considerable experience as a dog walker in the Boston and Washington DC areas.
Charles has worked extensively with reactive/aggressive and fearful dogs. Charles has had several dogs with extreme fearfulness and reactivity towards other dogs and people that gives him a very unique hands on experience to help guide owners with their own journeys. In addition to working with behavior cases Charles also spent 2.5 years training rescue dogs to become service dogs for veterans.
Charles is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA), an Affiliate Member of IAABC (International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants) and an AKC CGC (Canine Good Citizen) Evaluator. He is also Pet CPR certified. Charles is committed to continuing education and attends numerous workshops, conferences and seminars annually.
Charles shares his life with Triton, who was a service dog he trained for a Veteran, and Zephyr, a young Belgian Tervuren.
